Hello!

Welcome to our class page!

We have various reward systems in place to encourage fantastic work and positive behaviour. Individually, the children earn tokens for their team colour. At the end of the week we celebrate the winning team in our class. We also celebrate the winning team across the whole school every Friday. In addition to this, the children earn class awards for whole class achievements. The children are working towards a whole class reward which they decided. The first one is a 'trip to the park'.   

Our topic this term is 'Who's my mummy?' We will be learning all about the ancient Egyptians over the next term. Fun tasks in the pipeline range from making edible pyramids to baking Egyptian bread.

Reading Books

The children are more than welcome to bring in a book from home to read in school. Or they can select a reading book from the classroom. They will have to the opportunity to change their book on a daily basis. 

Spellings

See the year 5/6 home page for this half term's spellings. We will test the children every Friday.

PE Days

Mondays and Tuesday - the children are to come to school in their PE kit.
