Artistic children from 22 schools in the local area visited Drax Sports and Social club this week to view their works of art which were on display as part of Drax’s Art in the Community competition.

An exhibition of 74 works by pupils aged 5-18 were on show in a temporary gallery and 6 children from our school were our lucky representatives. They had a fantastic day enjoying a range of artistic activities with creative professionals and two of our children won prizes; 2nd place for the Key Stage 2 competition and 1st place for the Key Stage 1 competition.
