What changes have been approved for Snaith Primary School?

At its meeting on 1 November 2022, East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Cabinet approved the publication of proposals to expand the premises at Snaith Primary School.  Following a period of consultation between 10 November 2022 and 8 December 2022, approval to expand the premises at Snaith Primary School was granted on 11 January 2023 by Eoin Rush, Executive Director of Children, Families and Schools and Cllr Victoria Aitken, Portfolio Holder for Children and Young People's Education, Health and Wellbeing.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has approved this change to enable the School to expand to allow for a change in the numbers of pupils admitted.  This will enable the Council to meet its statutory duty to provide sufficient primary school places in the Snaith Primary School catchment area.
